Agents of SHIELD 4.08 “The Laws of Inferno Dynamics” Top 5

“The Laws of Inferno Dynamics” provided us with an incredible midseason finale! There were some big action scenes that were so much fun and dynamic to watch. They tied up some storylines from the beginning of the season and opened up new stories for the next chapter of the season. Everyone’s fears about AIDA seem to be coming true. Having our Inhuman super team of Elena, Daisy, and Robbie working together was fun to see. Here are my top 5 moments from “The Laws of Inferno Dynamics.” 5. The Source of…

The Walking Dead 7.07 “Sing Me a Song” Top 5

Negan and Carl at Sanctuary

Another 90-minute episode of The Walking Dead. Carl finally encounters Negan and we see how he fares. Rick and Aaron are off on an adventure. Spencer continues to be flippant in his hatred for Rick. Rosita shames Eugene. And Michonne is off on a mission all by herself. Everyone seems to be scattered. A scattered crew is not going to help in defeating or appeasing Negan. Here are my top 5 moments from “Sing Me a Song.” 5. Michonne’s plan Michonne has gone off by herself. We see her walking down the…

Supernatural 12.07 “Rock Never Dies” Top 5

I love when the Boys team up with Cas and Crowley. It was a certainly a treat to have all four of them working together on a common goal this episode. They work together to get closer to capturing Lucifer, trying ultimately to put him back in the cage. Dean and Sam are summoned out to Los Angeles to help the dynamic duo of Cas and Crowley on their mission. There was certainly small but great, warm moment, some funny moments, and more of Sam being the moral compass. Here…

Legends of Tomorrow 2.07 “Invasion!” Top 5

What an incredible and fun episode! The exciting conclusion of the epic CW DC TV crossover blew away my expectations. We of course had aliens (good and bad!), emotional and moral issues, IT people team-ups, metahumans, government double cross, and time travel! With so many amazing people on this show, I think this episode was so much fun. All of our heroes both save and destroy the Dominators (Is that even possible?). It was well written. The characters interacted well. I loved it. How do I pick just 5 moments?!…

Agents of SHIELD 4.07 “Deals With Our Devils” Top 5

another dimension

We’re finally back! And we pick up right where we left off in the last episode. The Fitz/Coulson/Robbie disappearance mystery is solved. We find out what has happened to Simmons (kind of). Eli shows SHIELD just how powerful he is. Darkhold continues to show us its powers, both good and evil. It was a beautifully shot episode full of action and emotions. I loved it. Here are my top 5 moments from “Deals With Our Devils.” 5. Eli’s Powers At the end of last episode, Eli comes out of the…

The Walking Dead 7.06 “Swear” Top 5

Another mostly slow episode this week, but we finally get to catch up with Tara. It’s been 9 episodes since we’ve last seen her; since the raid on the Saviors’ outpost. A lot has happened in that time period, while Tara and Heath have been out on the road, scavenging. With Tara mysteriously washing up on a shore, we get to meet the Oceanside colony. Tara proves herself to be quite humorous and it helps to save her life (for a while anyway). Here are my top 5 moments from…

The Walking Dead 7.05 “Go Getters” Top 5

Jesus and Sasha

Finally back to the Hilltop! We get to see what has happened to Maggie and Sasha. I’m so happy to see Jesus again….not so happy to see Gregory, however. The Saviors prove to be relentless with not only Rick and Alexandria, but with Gregory and the Hilltop as well. This was an interesting episode, delving into the dynamics of power, not only in the apocalypse in general, but also when it comes to facing a dominant opponent. Here are my top 5 moments from “Go Getters.” 5. The Saviors It…

Supernatural 12.06 “Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox” Top 5

Sam and Mary

This show continues to make me love it more and more. After 11+ seasons, I still love it. It still makes me laugh. This episode was incredible in a lot of different ways. We get to have Jody Mills back. Mary Winchester shows up again. There’s laughs. There’s great emotional moments. There’s action. There is a party of other hunters. And we get back to fighting a demon. “Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox” perfectly brought together so many elements. Here are my top 5 moments from this week’s episode.…

Legends of Tomorrow 2.06 “Outlaw Country” Top 5

Another trip to the Wild West! In this episode, we get to go back to 1874, in Liberty, Colorado. Once again, the Legends run into Jonah Hex. With a time pirate messing with history, the Legends have to team up with Jonah to take down Quentin Turnbull and right the time aberration. It was a fun episode with lots of action. Here are my top 5 moments from “Outlaw Country.” 5. Jonah Hex and Captain Lance Jonah notices the absence of Rip. He’s informed that Sara is now the Captain…

The Walking Dead 7.04 “Service” Top 5

Negan at the gate

Negan and his Saviors pay an early visit to Alexandria in this 90-minute episode, “Service.” I think the early visit was done to keep Rick and those in Alexandria off-balance and off guard. Negan did it as a power play, to show that he can show up whenever he wants, with whoever he wants, and take whatever he wants and there is NOTHING that the Alexandrians can do about it. Negan continues to be charming and funny, yet terrifying and powerful. Because this was a 90-minute episode, I did my…

Supernatural 12.05 “The One You’ve Been Waiting For” Top 5

The Boys with Hitler and Nazi stuff

For the time being, I’ll be doing the Supernatural reviews! Supernatural is my favorite show and I can’t wait to write about it. I only hope I can make Amelia proud! This week was a ridiculously fun episode, and may I say a bit apt for the events of this week. The Thule and Hitler are back and causing some major troubles. Dean finds the case and the Boys do what the Boys do. Many episodes are heavy and sad, but this one was entertaining and fun. I loved it.…

Legends of Tomorrow 2.05 “Compromised” Top 5

Legends at the White House

An episode in 1987….the year I was born! The Legends make their way to the 80s to check out a time aberration that was detected by Nate’s nifty new Time Seismograph. Damien Darhk and Eobard are brought back into the mix this week. We get to see some Russian KGB. The team goes to the White House and has a great time…sort of. It was another fun episode of Legends tonight in “Compromised.” Here are my top 5 moments. 5. Sara grows into her role Prior to being made the…

The Walking Dead 7.03 “The Cell” Top 5

Well, it seems that the Walking Dead has slowed down to its normal slow pace. This episode reminded me that this show has moved so much more towards the human element of the zombie apocalypse and way away from the walker element. We got a lot of small pieces of information and we got a glimpse into the world of Negan and his Saviors at the Sanctuary and we got to find out what happened to Daryl. Here are my top 5 moments from “The Cell.” The Sanctuary We finally…

Legends of Tomorrow 2.04 “Abominations” Top 5

Jax, Nate, and Martin before they saw the abominations

“Abominations” was an absolutely incredible episode of Legends. It contained very heavy subject matter and it was done in a beautiful and brilliant way. The first season was a bit hit or miss, it didn’t have its footing quite yet. I think this episode proves that Legends has found its stride in its second season. With the topic of this episode being zombie civil war soldiers, I expected this to be lighter and a bit goofy, but I could not have been more wrong. It was difficult to choose my top…

Agents of SHIELD 4.06 “The Good Samaritan” Top 5

There’s so much to talk about from this episode, I don’t even know where to start. We finally get to learn about the origins of Robbie Reyes becoming the Ghost Rider. Darkhold changes hands. The Director confronts Coulson and the rest of the team about Robbie and Daisy working with them….and not telling him about it. There’s even a reference to the wonderful Peggy Carter. And it’s all capped off with a twist. Here are my top 5 moments from “The Good Samaritan.” 5. The Director vs. Daisy and Robbie At…

The Walking Dead 7.02 “The Well” Top 5

Ezekiel

Well, this second episode is a little breather after last week’s traumatic premiere. It expands our walker world a little further. We get to meet new people (King Ezekiel!) and a new “oasis.” We get to learn what has happened to Carol and Morgan, as they wandered off with a couple of strangers at the end of last season. Morgan continues to be Morgan, and Carol continues to fight against it all. Here are my top 5 moments from “The Well.” 5. The Kingdom The strangers have taken Carol and…
