Arrow 5.08 ‘Invasion’ Top 5

Arrow 5.08 'Invasion' Top 5

In a landmark event, Arrow celebrated its 100th episode with a mega crossover between Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Needless to say, it was an action packed episode. Let’s dig into Arrow 5.08 ‘Invasion’ Top 5. The Story Overall, I found ‘invasion’ to a very enjoyable episode that was befitting of the 100th episode of Arrow. However, the overall story, while intriguing, felt very contrived. Picking up from the Flash episode, Oliver, Sara, Diggle, and Ray are all kidnapped by aliens (which was carried over from Supergirl),…

Legends of Tomorrow 2.05 “Compromised” Top 5

Legends at the White House

An episode in 1987….the year I was born! The Legends make their way to the 80s to check out a time aberration that was detected by Nate’s nifty new Time Seismograph. Damien Darhk and Eobard are brought back into the mix this week. We get to see some Russian KGB. The team goes to the White House and has a great time…sort of. It was another fun episode of Legends tonight in “Compromised.” Here are my top 5 moments. 5. Sara grows into her role Prior to being made the…

Arrow 4.06 “Lost Souls” Review

Guilt is such an all-consuming, toxic thing. Since I don’t like my characters perfect, it’s nice to see that illustrated in tonight’s episode of Arrow. Felicity Smoak has been my favorite character since she first stepped foot on the show, and aside from a few missteps here and there, she’s typically just been that perfect character. Because of that, it was actually quite refreshing to watch her lose it. There were times where I was genuinely frustrated, this episode. Not because of the ‘Olicity’ aspects, but more because Felicity was…

Arrow 4.04 “Beyond Redemption” Review

This week on Arrow, Oliver’s run for mayor takes center stage after being completely glossed over last week. Not only is Oliver scouting out campaign headquarters, but he’s also built a brand new Arrow Cave underneath the office building, complete with all of the bells and whistles you would want in a secret lair for vigilante justice. Felicity seems to have had a big hand in all of the set up, making sure all of the tech is state of the art- even if the entire system is a bit…

Arrow 4.03 “Restoration” Review

Let’s start with the villains who appeared this week during “Restoration.” Double Down (J.R. Bourne) made an appearance as a merc for hire, who had the metahuman ability to pull tattoo cards off his body and throw them fast enough to do some real damage. The fight scenes involving Diggle, Green Arrow, and Double Down were the best of the season so far, and seeing Green Arrow deflecting cards as he finds a way to get close left us with a memorable episode in terms of action. While the…
